The Gaia Tower is one of the main attractions at Cerro Verde Mirador, offering visitors a chance to discover the treasures of the department.
With just a few steps up and the help of binoculars, every visitor is treated to a breathtaking view of 70% of the department of Antioquia.
From there, with a single glance, you can see Antioquia’s greatest treasures: to the east, the San Nicolás Valley, José María Córdoba Airport, Marinilla, the Sanctuary, and the Sonsón Páramos; and from the west, the Páramo del Sol, Páramo de Baldías, the Farallones de Citará, and the Páramos de Belmira.
Some people have seen Nevado del Ruíz, Cerro de Corcovado, La Piedra del Peñol, and, above all, the department’s most important water sources: in total five of Antioquia’s six páramos.
