TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR INDIVIDUAL BOOKINGS
1. OBJECTIVE
To provide the policies, conditions, and terms of the room reservation made at MIRADOR CERRO VERDE (Inversiones Jarapineda S.A.S.), in accordance with internal guidelines and applicable legal provisions. The customer must pay 100% of the reservation amount at the time of booking through our digital channels.
2. SCOPE
This applies to customers who have made an individual reservation for accommodations (rooms) at hotels in the MIRADOR CERRO VERDE chain (Inversiones Jarapineda S.A.S).
3. GENERAL INFORMATION
Pets are charged 60,000 for boarding, THESE WILL BE CHARGED AT CHECK-IN.
3.1. Check-In (arrival at the hotel) and Check-Out (departure from the hotel) Policy
Your reservation begins at 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and ends at 12:00 p.m. on the day of departure.
3.2. Cancellation and Modification Policy
Refundable cancellation: 50% of the rate if canceled two weeks in advance for the Yarumo and Arrayanes cabins; and one month in advance for the Sietecueros Chalet and Uvitos glamping.
Changes or rescheduling for the Yarumo and Arrayanes cabins must be made at least fifteen days in advance; for the Sietecueros Chalet or Uvitos glamping, at least one month in advance.
Changes (rescheduling) are subject to the type of accommodation.
3.3. Rate Adjustment Policy
The rates shown on the website are valid for Monday through Friday. These rates may vary for weekends, peak season, or holidays. In such cases, the price will be adjusted at the time of booking.
High season: June break (June 28–July 21, 2021), October break (October 11–17, 2021), and December break (December 15, 2021–January 11, 2022).
3.4. Policy on the Registration of Minors
If you are traveling with a child or children under the age of 18, you must present the child’s or children’s identification document (birth certificate) that proves your relationship to them. If the minor(s) is/are not traveling with their parents, you must submit to the front desk, in addition to the minor’s identification document (birth certificate), a parental consent form, which must be notarized and accompanied by a copy of the identification document of the person(s) who provided the authorization. Without this documentation, minors are not permitted to enter the hotel. This is in accordance with the provisions of Law 679 of 2001, the Statute to Prevent the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents, and its related regulations.
3.5. Late Check-Out Policy
a. Subject to availability, late check-out until 3:00 p.m. is available for an additional fee.
b. Late check-out between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. will be charged at half the rate paid for the guest’s stay.
c. Late check-out after 7:00 p.m. will result in the full rate for the guest’s stay being charged.
3.6. Late Check-In Policy
a. Late check-in is available until 8:00 p.m. at no extra charge.
b. Late check-in between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. will incur a charge of $30,000.
d. A late check-in after 10:00 p.m. will incur a $50,000 charge.
3.7. Anti-Corruption and Anti-Fraud Policy
Do not engage in dishonest conduct or practices that would undermine corporate integrity; such as offering or accepting gifts, invitations, or other types of incentives that could reward or influence you to take or refrain from taking any commercial or legal action, or when you intentionally conceal, alter, falsify, or omit information for your own benefit or the benefit of others, or engaging in potential conflicts of interest that could place personal priorities above collective ones; promoting a culture of ethics, transparency, and integrity in the conduct of business activities.
3.8. Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Policy
To become aware of and commit to the fight against Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (ML/TF), dedicating all efforts to prevent the company from becoming involved in illegal acts—not only out of loyalty but also for ethical and legal reasons—in compliance with a policy consistent with legal regulations. Thus, the guest declares under oath—which is deemed to have been taken upon signing the contract—that the funds comprising their assets do not originate from money laundering, terrorist financing, drug trafficking, illegal fundraising, or any other illicit activity; likewise, the client declares that the funds delivered or to be delivered as consideration for the services offered by the hotel originate from lawful activities. For the purposes of the foregoing, the client expressly authorizes the hotel to consult the relevant lists, information systems, and databases; should any report be found, the hotel shall proceed to take the appropriate contractual and/or legal actions. The customer undertakes to take all necessary steps to ensure that its partners, managers, contractors, customers, suppliers, employees, etc., and/or their funds, are not related to or derived from illegal activities, particularly those listed above. Such conduct will result in the hotel operator’s lawful termination of the lodging contract.
3.9. Sustainability Policy
At MIRADOR CERRO VERDE (Inversiones Jarapineda S.A.S), we are committed to the sustainable development of our community, fulfilling our legal obligations regarding environmental, sociocultural, and economic issues through the continuous improvement of our processes. We protect the physical and moral well-being of children, adolescents, and vulnerable populations by implementing safety and control measures designed to safeguard their rights. We implement prevention, control, and improvement measures to minimize the environmental, sociocultural, and economic impact of our operations; raising awareness among our guests, customers, suppliers, and employees regarding their sustainable rights and responsibilities.

3.10. Anti-Smoking Law Policy
In accordance with the provisions of Law 1335 of 2009, our hotels maintain smoke-free areas and environments. Consequently, guests agree to refrain from smoking in areas and spaces designated as smoke-free, as well as in enclosed spaces such as guest rooms, hallways, restaurants, lounges, and other similar areas. In the event that a guest fails to comply with this obligation, they agree to pay a penalty of $100,000 COP for breach of their obligations.
3.11. Statement of the Source and Destination of Funds
I hereby declare that the financial and/or physical resources do not originate from, nor will they be used for, any illegal activities as defined in the Colombian Penal Code or in any regulation that amends or supplements it.
3.12. Consent to the Processing of Personal Data
I authorize MIRADOR CERRO VERDE (Inversiones Jarapineda S.A.S.) to process my personal data, which has been provided through various marketing channels such as websites, call centers, and others. The hotel hereby informs you that your personal data will be stored with the utmost care, in accordance with the provisions of Law 1266 of 2008, Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013, and all other regulations that amend, regulate, or expand upon the relevant legislation, as well as the provisions of the MIRADOR CERRO VERDE (Inversiones Jarapineda S.A.S.) 3.13. Return Policy
When you book our services through www.cerroverdemirador.com or the Reservations Center, you may exercise your right of withdrawal no later than five business days after the purchase confirmation. The right of withdrawal does not apply to reservations with a check-in date less than five days away. To withdraw, please send an email to miradorcerrov@gmail.com If you made your purchase through the website, or contact the Reservations Center via WhatsApp if you made your purchase through that channel. The refund will be issued without any deductions, via bank deposit in the name of the person who made the reservation or via a credit card refund to the card used for the purchase, depending on the payment method used, within 30 calendar days of the cancellation.
3.14. Refund Policy
When you book our services through www.cerroverdemirador.com or the Reservations Center and have used a credit or debit card or any other electronic payment method, and the payment method used is issued by a financial institution based in Colombia, you may request a chargeback in the event of fraud, an unauthorized transaction, or a purchased item not received.
3.15. Discounts, Contests, and Promotions
All of our promotions, contests, and discounts are subject to terms and conditions.

Refunds or rescheduling are not available for accommodation reservations made using a promotional offer.
