  1. When you wake up, do a full-body scan: observe how each part of your body comes alive as you scan from bottom to top, starting with your toes and working your way up to your head.
  2. Take a mindful shower: pay attention to how the water feels against your skin, its temperature, and its intensity and pressure.
  3. Five minutes of mindful breathing on the balcony: Find a comfortable position with your back straight, and focus on your breath and the entire process—such as the temperature of the air as you inhale and exhale, and how your abdomen and lungs expand and contract, among other things.
  4. Discover your first drink of the day or your breakfast drink: experience a drink like you've never done before—first, look at it, touch it, listen to it, taste it, and then drink it mindfully.
  5. Connect with the natural surroundings of Cerro Verde: Focus your attention using all your senses; try closing your eyes to heighten your hearing and sense of smell, then open them to observe the colors and touch what’s around you, discovering the sensations and emotions it evokes.
